dpe.gov.bd Primary Asst Teacher Recruitment PEDP-3

Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) has recently invited application from applicants who want to make their career as an Assistant Teacher in Primary Schools under the Primary Education Development Program (PDEP-3).

The Govt. Primary Assistant Teacher Job circular was published on 19 November in the National dailies and also in the official website of DPE (dpe.gov.bd)

Educational Qualification asst. teacher job:


For Male candidates:

HSC or Equivalent pass+ Certificate in Education or Equivalent exam form any govt. recognized institution. (Minimum Second division or GPA 2.00 in ANY OF THE SSC and HSC exam)

OR,

Honours or Equivalent degree from any University.

For Male candidates:

SSC or Equivalent (Minimum GPA 2.00)

OR,

HSC or equivalent passed (Minimum 2.00 in HSC if GPA less than 2.00 in SSC)

OR,

Honours or Equivalent degree from any University

How to Apply for DPE Asst. Teacher Job:



  • Candidates have to download the sample application form and Admit card in A4 size paper (Both will be 2 copies)

  • Fill up the form with authentic information and  send it (Two copies of application form and admit cards) to relevant District Primary Education Officer within 20 December. (5.00 PM)

  • Write MAIN COPY and DUPLICATE COPY with RED PEN on separate application form.

  • 4 Copies of recent passport size photographs attested by first class gazetted officer and these pictures must be embedded with gum in the application forms.

  • All educational papers i.e, Certificate, marksheet, testimonial.

20,000 Govt. primary school teachers to be appointed soon

Bangladesh govt. is gonna recruit about 20,000 teachers soon in the government primary schools countrywide.

Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr Mohammad Afsarul Amin made the disclosure while addressing a function in the district Wednesday.

The minister told

The government will appoint 20,000 teachers soon to fill up the shortage in different government primary schools nationwide aimed at providing globally standard education to primary school childrenyesterday.

He also said that the present govt. has ensured enrollment of each children in primary schools by introducing school feeding programme (mid day school meal), various scholarships and free distribution of text books (NCTB Books).

He added that the present government has taken different efforts to provide time befitting global standard education to the students for building Bangladesh as an educated nation.

Mr. Afsarul Amin assured the primary school teachers to solve their various problems.

The minister said government has decided to donate two computers in each union across the country this year to modernize education to cope with global standard.

Currently thousands of candidates are looking forward for publishing the dpe.gov.bd primary assistant teacher recruitment result for the year 2011. Now this new declaration will add some fuel in their inspiration that there are some hope in the future to become a govt. assistant teacher.

MoPME is mainly responsible for policy formulation, supervision, planning, monitoring and evaluation and initiating legislative measures relating to primary and non-formal education. Bangladesh has been trying relentlessly to uphold the cause of education for all since its emergence as an independent country. Article 17 of the Constitution of Bangladesh stipulates that primary education shall be the responsibility of the State. To bear this responsibility primary education in Bangladesh underwent a great deal of changes and development during the last decades. Bangladesh is a signatory to the World Declaration on Education for All (EFA) held at Jomtien, Thailand in March 1990. Bangladesh is also a signatory to the Summit of 9 high Population Countries held on 16 December 1993 in Delhi. Bangladesh participated in the World Education Forum meeting held in Senegal, Dakar in April 2000. The Government enacted Compulsory Primary Education Act in 1990, created a separate Primary and Mass Education Division (PMED) in 1992, introduced compulsory primary education program in 68 Upazilas in 1992 and expanded this program all over the country in 1993. The country has formulated National Plan of Action I and II to realize the goals of Education for All. The country has also prepared a Non-formal Education Policy. The PMED was made a Ministry in 2003. Dr. Md. Afsarul Ameen is the Hon’ble Minister and Mr. Md. Motahar Hossain is the Hon’ble State Minister for the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.

Primary School Certificate PSC/ Ebtedayee Exam Routine 2012

Primary Terminal Examinations (Commonly known as Primary Somapony Certificate Exam or PSC Exam)  under both general and Madrasah education boards will begin on Nov 21.

The decision was taken on Wednesday at a meeting of the National Steering Committee on Primary and Ebtedayee Examinations-2012 held at the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.

Highlights of the Primary Somapony Certificate (PSC) Exam 2012



  1. Not only the exam date but also the date for publication of PSC results had been declared and PSC Results 2012 will be published on Dec 27.

  2. Furthermore students, who will pass the examination, will receive their mark sheets on Dec 31 while certificate to the successful candidates will be given on Jan 20.

  3. The fee for appearing in the examinations has been fixed at Tk 400. On every scheduled day, the examination will take place from 11am to 1pm.

  4. Students with disability would get an additional 20 minutes to complete their papers.

  5.  This year the results will be published in grading system.
