Eligibility for IBA Admission Test:

All applicants must have at least a Bachelor Degree in any field of study. The minimum qualifying point is seven (07) for all applicants. The points are calculated as follows:

** Letter grades of 0-Level and A-Level subjects are converted into grade points as follows:

A = 4, B = 3, C = 2 and D = 1. Grade Point Average (GPA) is calculated by averaging the grade points of the best five grades for O -level and the best two grades for A-Level.

Selection Procedure:


The test has two components: Written Assessment and Interview.

The written assessment component evaluates applicants' aptitude in Language, Mathematics, and Analytical ability. An applicant must obtain a minimum qualifying score in each of the above areas to pass of the written test and appear for the interview.

All Bangladeshi applicants must take the admission test. Foreign applicants with a minimum percentile of 50 in GMAT may be exempted from the written assessment. However, they will be required to appear for an interview.

The 1st year honors admission test of Noakhali Science & Technology University (NSTU) for the academic session 2012-13 begins from December 25, 2012, Tuesday.

Admission Requirements

1. Applicants must be a citizen of Bangladesh.


2. Applicants who passed SSC or equivalent exam in 2009/2010 and HSC or equivalent exam in 2011/2012 they are eligible for apply.

Admit Card for Admission Test:

*** Applicants must bring main level and two photocopies of registration card of SSC/ “O” level. They have to staple recent attested photos and photos on two photocopies of registration card, which is treated as admit card. No other admit card will be issued.

Applicants should submit main transcript /marksheet of SSC & HSC, for reserve seats applicants have to submit main certificate by proper authority. For freedom fighter’s Children/ Children’s children have to show main certificate which is only issued by Freedom Fighter Ministry.

Instructions Regarding examination:

1. candidates should fill up 6 digit registration no. carefully


2. Admit card: No new admit card will be issued. Admit card for preliminary examination will do.


3. Mobile, bags, Electric device and programmable calculators are strictly prohibited in the exam hall.


4. Candidates who reach exam hall 15 minutes after examination starts will not be allowed to sit for the exam.


5. For handicapped candidates:  The amanuensis  must  be of a lower grade of education  than the candidate  and must not be attached to the institution to which the candidate  belongs."

Senior Scale August/2012 Exam under Bangladesh Public Service Commission starts from 7th September and ends on 15 November.

Exam will start with Bangladesh and General Affairs First Part at Teachers' Training College, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. Exam time is from 9.00 AM to 12.00 AM.

Previously Registration no 004061 to 006096 (total 2000 applicants) were instructed to attend their MCQ exam in Dhaka college, but according to new notice from BPSC they are now guided to attend in the Eden College, Azimpur. There is no other change in the seat plan.
