Bangladesh Bank, the central bank and apex regulatory body for the country's monetary and financial system, was established in Dhaka as a body corporate vide the Bangladesh Bank Order, 1972 (P.O. No. 127 of 1972) with effect from 16th December, 1971. Position: Assistant Director (Ex-Cader) for Library of Research Department

Salary scale: Under National Pay Scale 2009, BDT 11,000/-490x7-14,430/-EB540x11-20,370

Age as on 31/07/2012:

a. 30 years maximum

b. 32 Years maximum in case of son/daughter/grandson/granddaughter of freedom fighter

Educational requirement:

Four year honors degree in Information Science & Library Management or Master Degree with three year honors degree in Library and Information Science from a reputed university and also has minimum two first class/division. Third division/class in any examination is not allowed.

Pre-requisite: Scanned or Digital print of your passport size photograph.

Candidates List to whom offer letter issued for the post of Assistant Director (Engineer-Civil)

Bangladesh Bank has issued offer letter to the selected candidates for the post Assistant Director (Civil- engineer).

The written exam for this post was held on 30/12/2011 and viva held later on.

These selected candidates have to join on 15th July 2012. So, they are instructed to report on 11th July 2012 or earlier to Recruitment and Outsourcing wing. (Human Resource Department-1, Bangladesh Bank, Head office 5th Floor).
