Qualification for DEO in Bangladesh Navy:
:: BNVR-Ex. (Male)
- Age as on July 01, 2013: Maximum 30 years
- Educational qualification: Graduation including Physics and Mathematics or Honours in Physics/Mathematics/Chemistry/Computer Science/Applied Physics/ Applied Physics and Electrical/ Applied Chemistry/Marine Science/Nautical. GPA 2.5 out of 4 scale or second division in Honours/Graduation and GPA 3.oo or Second division in SSC and HSC.
- Marital Status: Unmarried
- Recruitment: As BNVR Officer in Acting Sub Lieutenant post for 5 years.
:: BNVR-Supply(Male and Female)
- Age as on July 01, 2013: Maximum 30 years
- Educational qualification: Graduation including Commerce/ Statistics/ Economics or Graduation in Textile Engineering/ Leather Technology or Honurs in Commerce/ Statistics/ Economics or BBA. GPA 2.5 out of 4 scale or second division in Honours/Graduation and GPA 3.oo or Second division in SSC and HSC.
- Marital Status: Unmarried Male and Married/unmarried Female.
- Recruitment: As BNVR Officer in Acting Sub Lieutenant post for 5 years.
:: Engineering and Electrical Core (Male and Female)
- Age as on July 01, 2013: Maximum 30 years
- Educational qualification: Honours in Naval architecture/ Mechanical /Electrical Engineering . GPA 2.5 out of 4 scale or second division in Honours/Graduation and GPA 3.oo or Second division in SSC and HSC.
- Marital Status: Unmarried Male and Married/unmarried Female.
- Recruitment: Acting Sub Lieutenant
:: Education Core (Male and Female)
- Age as on July 01, 2013: Maximum 35 years
- Educational qualification: Honours or Honours with Masters in Bengali/English/Physics/Mathematis/Public Relation and Journalism/ Music/ Physical Education/ Sports diploma. Candidates with Masters will do with 3 years Honours course but those who are only Honours it must be of 4 years. GPA 2.5 out of 4 scale or second division in Honours/Graduation and GPA 3.oo or Second division in SSC and HSC.

Selection Procedure for DEO in Bangladesh Navy:
- Primary Medical and Interview: 04 to 07 March 2013 at BN College Dhaka.
- Written Test: 08 March. Subjects: IQ, English and General Knowledge in Dhaka.

- Final Medical Test
- Final Selection

First you have to collect a Bank Draft/ Pay Order in favour of "Personnel Branch Miscellaneous Fund" S/A- 34080508 from any branch of Sonali Bank Ltd.
Then Follow one of the two system:
- Online application for DEO in BN: Go to www.bangladeshnavy.org and click on JOIN NAVY TAB or go Directly www.joinnavy.mil.bd and fill up the form. You have to print the form and it will serve as Form Commission-2 (B) later.
