Important Info about DBBL Scholarship:

Scholarship for: Bachelor Level.
Total no of students to get Scholarship: 2000
Application Start Date: July 22, 2012
Last Date: September 30, 2012

Amount of Dutch Bangla Scholarship:

2,500/- taka per month for 2-5 years which is renewable. Besides Annual Grant for Reading Materials: Tk.5000/- and Annual Grant for Clothing: Tk.1000/-

Requirements of Applicants (Who can apply for DBBL Scholarship):

• Applicants must pass HSC /equivalent examinations in 2012.


• Students under colleges/ Institution situated in City corporation must have GPA 4.8 without 4th subject and the students under colleges/ institutions situated outside city corporation areas must have at least GPA 4.5.


• 90% scholarships will be allocated for students who passed HSC/ equivalent examination from the institution situated outside of City Corporation areas.


• 50% scholarships will be allocated for female students.

How to apply for for Dutch Bangla Bank Scholarship HSC 2012:

Application form will be available in all the branches of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, where there is no branch of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited; the applicants may apply in plain paper giving personal, academic and contact details (mentioning post code).

Which Documents/papers/certificates you will have to submit with application form:

 

1. 4 copies of recent passport size photograph, photocopies of certificates, mark sheets/transcripts & testimonials.


2. All documents must be properly attested by the Head of the Institution where last attended.


3. Income certificates of father/mother/guardian from 2 different sources: (a) Government gazetted officer; (b)Head of institution where last attended.


4. Students who enjoyed DBBL scholarship at H.S.C level (based on S.S.C result) should mention it clearly at the top of the form/application.

Amount of Dutch Bangla Scholarship: 2,000/- taka per month for 2 years. (Intermediate Life).  Besides Annual Grant for Reading Materials: Tk.2000/- and Annual Grant for Clothing: Tk.1000/-

Requirements of Applicants:

• Applicants must be passed SSC or Equivalent exam in 2012.

• For applicants passed from City Corporation area must have 5.00, from institutions in the district area 4.7 and for other least developed areas 4.5.

• 90% scholarship will be earmarked for rural students who have passed from the intuition situated outside of City Corporation areas.

• 50% scholarship will be earmarked for female students

Prescribed application form will be available in all the branches of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, Where there is no branch of Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited, the applicants may apply in plain paper giving personal, academic and contact detail along with  4copies recent passport size photograph, copies of certificates & marksheet (all documents will be duly attested by the present institutional head. Income certificates father/mother/guardian from 2 different sources i.e. gazetted officer and recommendation from the present Institutional Head.
