Educational Requirements according to Branches of Jobs:
- GD (P), Meteorology, ADWC, ATC, Logistic : Minimum GPA 3.50 in HSC with Mathematics (may be compulsory /optional and at least Letter grade D will do) OR, A-Level: Physics and Mathematics (Letter grade D in both this subjects will do).
- GD (N): Minimum GPA 3.50 in HSC with Mathematics (may be compulsory /optional and at least Letter grade D will do) OR, A-Level: Physics and Mathematics (Letter grade D in both this subjects will do).
- Admin:HSC-3.50 or Letter Grade-D in A Level.
- Engineering: CSE/ICT/Telecom and Electronics Engineering/ Chemical Engineering- Second Division.
- Education Branch: Minimum 2nd Class Masters with Honours in the respective subjects.
- Legal Branch: LLM/LLB preferably with Hons without any third Class/Division in the entire academic profile.
Other Eligibility:
- Age as on 10 July 2013:
- Within 16 year 6 months to 21 years.
- 30 years for Engineering and Legal branch
- 35 years for Education brance
- Nationality: Bangladeshi citizen.
- Marital Status:
- Unmarried
- Married/Unmarried for Education, Engineering and Legal Branch
- Height:
- 162.56 cm (64 inch) for Male candidates
- 157.48 cm (62 inch) for female candidates
- Chest:
- Male: 81.28 cm (32 ”)
- Female: 71 cm (28 ”)
- Chest Expansion: 5.08 cm (2 ”)
- Weight: According to age and height chart
- Eye: 6/6 and normal vision or as applicable
Conditions of Ineligibility:
Candidates of the following categories are ineligible for enrolment as airmen:
- Dismissed from Army/Navy/Air Force.
- Dismissed/removed/discharged from Government services on disciplinary ground or forbidden from Government employment.
- Convicted in a Court of law for an offence involving moral turpitude or awarded imprisonment for any civil offence.
- Screened out /rejected twice from ISSB (Only for Long course).
- Unfit from CMB / appeal medical board.

- Primary ritten Test: IQ, English and General Knowledge
- Primary Medical
- Primary Interview (Except Special Short Course)
- ISSB
- Final Medical Test
- Final Selection
How to apply for 71 FCC
Documents Required with the Application Forms:
- Attested photocopies of all certificates/provisional certificates, Testimonial and marks sheets.
- Nationality certificate from Counselor of City Corporation / Municipal corporation/Chairman of Union Council.
- Three copies of recent pass port size photograph duly attested by Class-I Gazetted Officer.
- Character certificate from Class-I Gazetted Officer.
- Attested copy of Birth Registration Certificate/ National ID Card.
- Attested copy of certificate for dependent of Freedom Fighter from appropriate authority.
- Attested copy of Birth Registration Certificate/ National ID Card.
- For Tribal candidates attested certificate issued by Deputy Commissioner (DC).
- Equivalence certificate from equivalence committee for educational qualification earned from foreign university/colleges as demanded.
