All the rules and procedures will remain same as last year.
The MBBS and BDS admission circular has been published on 10/09/2012. There was a long history of struggle and the admission seekers are now happy with the cordial decision from DGHS.GOV.BD.

MBBS Admission Test 2012-13At a glance:
- Applicants must pass SSC/Equivalent exam in 2010 and 2009 and HSC/equivalent in 2012 and 2013 (not before that).
- Those who passed SSC before 2009 will be disqualified for application.
- Minimum GPA requirement for application: GP 8.00 in SSC and HSC and at least 3.50 in each of SSC and HSC.
- For Tribal candidates: GPA requirements is: 7.00 with minimum 3.oo in each exam.
- Foreigner students who want admission in Private/Non-govt. Medical/Dental Colleges: Minimum GPA requirements is: 7.00 with minimum 3.oo in each exam.
- Applicants must have BIOLOGY in HSC/equivalent exam (Applicable for all).
- 5 Marks will be deducted from obtained marks for the candidates who are studying in any Govt. medical colleges.
- Admission Test pattern: MCQ (100 Marks); Negative Marking: 0.25 for each wrong answer
Available Seats for MBBS and BDS Candidates:
- 10% seats are increased in Govt. Medical colleges.
- 50 seats will be reserved for Freedom fighter candidates (last year it was 40).
- Tribal quota: 20 seats
- Total seats in Govt. Medical Colleges: 2811 in 22 colleges
- Total seats in Govt. Dental Colleges: 578 (in 1 Dental college and 9 dental units)
- Seats in Private medical and dental colleges: 4275 in 52 medical colleges.
Applicants who passed SSC/HSC under foreign education curriculum must convert their marks into GPA and collect Equivalence certificate.
