Format: MCQ, Total marks 100.
Negative Marking: 0.05 for each wrong answer (According to BPSC notice published on 22 July 2012)

Q. Will this exam be taken in centers outside Dhaka like Rajshahi, Chittagong, Sylhet, Khulna and Barisal?
Ans: Nope. The Asst. Revenue officer preli exam will be held only in Dhaka centers.

Ans: One hour for 100 MCQs.
Q. Will there be any negative marking?
Ans: Yes you will be penalized 0.05 marks for each wrong answer.

Ans: This is still a mystery. Generally preliminary results are out within a month after the exam.
