Ministry of Education, Bangladesh Government has declared the principle (Nitimala) for admission into Higher Secondary (Intermediate) College or (Alim in Madrasha).
This HSC online admission process must be followed for the colleges who are authorized for admission of 600 or more students. And relevant education board will arrange for online admission.
Besides, the colleges having 300-plus seats will also be encouraged to adopt the online admission system.
Glorious results of the SSC and equivalent examinations has been published on May 7 and the colleges will have to start HSC 2012-13 session 1st year classes on July 1. The colleges will start receiving online HSC applications from admission-seekers from May 12 and will continue till June 6. Candidates who passed SSC or equivalent exams on 2010, 2011 and 2012 will be able to apply for admission for the session 2012-2013.

May 12, 2012: Start of Application Form Submission for HSC Online Admission 2012-13 Session
June 06, 2012: End of Application receiving by colleges for HSC Online Admission 2012-13 Session
July 01, 2012: HSC 2012-13 session classes start in all colleges of Bangladesh
- Colleges will select students for admission to colleges on the basis of the results obtained in the Secondary School Certificate and equivalent exams. No admission test or viva-voce will be held.
