IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship Round 20 |idb-bisew.org

Islamic Development Bank- Bangladesh Islamic Solidarity Educational Wakf (IDB-BISEW) has invited application from applicants for 20th Round of IDB-BISEW IT scholarship.

Important Dates for the Scholarship:













Application Valid within06 December 2012 to 20 February 2013
Eligible List for and Schedule07 March, Daily Ittefaq

 

Scholarship facility:



  • IT training program having a market value of at least Tk. 2.5 Lac.

  • Vendor certificate worth 20000/-

  • Every trainee receives a monthly allowance of Tk. 2,000 for the duration of the training.

  • Architectural and Civil CAD

  • Computer-Assisted Animation

  • Database Design & Development

  • Enterprise Systems Analysis & Design – C#.NET

  • Enterprise Systems Analysis & Design – J2EE

  • Networking Technologies

  • Web Presence Solutions & Implementation


IDB-BISEW IT scholarship round 20

Requirements to apply for IDB-BISEW Scholarship:



  • Must be citizen of Bangladesh

  • Muslim by faith

  • Must possess at least a graduation or Fazil degree, or a diploma in Civil Engineering/Architecture/Survey

  • At least 2nd division (CGPA 2.5) in both SSC and HSC examinations


How to Apply for the IDB-BISEW IT Scholarship?



  • Applications for the IT scholarship are invited thrice a year through newspaper advertisement & website

  • Application forms are available at branches of Islami Bank Bangladesh Ltd for a fee of Tk. 100

  • Applicants must mail their completed applications to the address indicated on the application materials.


 

Selection Procedure:

  • First step is to pass Aptitude Test conducted for IT Scholarship programme.

  • Second and last step is to appear in a brief interview. Candidates are finally selected if they successfully passed the interview.


Aptitude Test


In order to assess the basic aptitude of the candidate, the Project Authority would conduct a written test lasting 45 minutes, in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) format. The test basically seeks to evaluate a candidate’s problem solving abilities. There is no pass or fail marks. Only a percentile ranking system is used for selecting successful candidates.
